பிற்பட்டோர் பட்டியலில் மேலும் சில சாதிகள்: மத்திய அமைச்சரவை ஒப்புதல்

தினமணி: புதுவை, கர்நாடகம், மகாராஷ்டிரம், டாமன் -டையூ, அந்தமான் -நிக்கோபார் தீவுகள், திரிபுரா ஆகிய மாநிலங்கள் மற்றும் யூனியன் பிரதேசங்களைச் சேர்ந்த சில சாதிகளையும், சமூகங்களையும் மத்திய பிற்படுத்தப்பட்டோர் (ஓபிசி) பட்டியலில் சேர்க்க மத்திய அமைச்சரவை வியாழக்கிழமை ஒப்புதல் அளித்தது. சாதிகள் மற்றும் சமூகங்களின் பெயர்களை சரிசெய்வது அல்லது திருத்துவதும் இதில் அடங்கும்.

The Hindu :: Cabinet approves inclusion in Central OBCs list: The castes which would be made part of the OBC central list include Rana in Daman & Diu and Kareng (Andman & Nicobar Islands). The Cabinet also approved the inclusion of additional areas of Jharkhand in the Scheduled Areas provided in the Fifth Schedule of the Constitution. He said the areas of Udhwa and Mandro Block in Sahebgunj district and two panchayats of Rabda and Bakoria of Satbarwa block in Palamu district were "inadvertently left out" in the earlier inclusion process.
