ச:பெண்கள், குழந்தைகளுக்கான நிதி - குறைவாக பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது

பாராளுமன்ற கமிட்டி ஒன்றின் ஆய்வின்படி மத்திய அரசின் பெண்கள் மற்றும் குழந்தைகளுக்கான நிதி ஒதுக்கீடு குறைவாகவே பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது எனத் தெரிகிறது.

பெண்கள் முன்னேற்றத்துக்காக அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டிருந்த நிதியிலிருந்து 50%க்கும் குறைவாகவே பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது என அறிக்கை தெரிவிக்கிறது.

Funds for women and children remain under-utilised
It said under the central schemes for women, utilisation figures were less than half of the approved outlay. Against an outlay of Rs 971.11 crore, the expenditure reported was only Rs 434.47 crore. Similarly, for centrally-sponsored schemes for women, only Rs 130.48 crore could be utilised by the end of the tenth plan against an allocation of Rs 275.01 crore.

Among the schemes in which funds were under-utilised were Integrated Child Development Services, Integrated Child Protection Scheme, Rashtriya Mahila Kosh, Swadhar, Comprehensive Scheme for Combating Trafficking of Women and Children and relief and rehabilitation of rape victims.
