ச: உயிரினங்கள் அழிப்பு - ஐநா வேண்டுகோள்

மனித செயல்களால், உலகில், ஒரு மணிநேரத்தில் மூன்று தாவர அல்லது விலங்கினங்கள் அழிக்கப்படுகின்றன எனும் திடுக்கிடும் தகவலை ஐநா வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.

உயிரியல் பன்மைத்தன்மையை (Biodiversity) முன்பைவிட அதிவேகமாக இழந்துவருகிறோம் என்று குறிப்பிடும் அறிக்கையில் இதைக் குறைக்க உலகநாடுகள் தேவையானதை செய்யவேண்டும் என வேண்டுகோள் விடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

மே 22 உயிரியல் பன்மைத்தன்மைக்கான நாளாக நினைவுகூறப்படுகிறது.
