ஸ்ரீலங்கா, அமெரிக்கா இராணுவ ஒப்பந்தம்

இலங்கை அரசும் அமெரிக்காவும் பல்வேறு பரஸ்பர புரிந்துணர்வு மற்றும் உதவிக்கான இராணுவ ஒப்பந்தம் ஒன்றை உருவாக்கியுள்ளன. 10 வருடங்களுக்கான இந்த ஒப்பந்தத்தில் பல்வேறு இராணுவ பரஸ்பபர உதவிகளை இரு நாடுகளும் வழங்கவும் பெறவும் உள்ளன.

Sri lanka enters military pact with US

Sri Lanka and the United States today entered into a 10-year agreement to provide reciprocal logistical support for their respective military forces.

The Acquisition and Cross-Servicing Agreement (ACSA) was signed by Sri Lanka's Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapakse and US ambassador Robert Blake, the US embassy said.
"The agreement will allow the US and Sri Lanka to transfer and exchange logistics supplies, support, and re-fueling services, either in kind or at cost," a statement from the embassy said.
