அமெரிக்க ஆளுகைக்குட்ப்பட்ட க்யூபாவின் க்வாண்டனமோ விரிகுடா சிறைச்சாலையில் சவூதி அரேபியாவை சேர்ந்த சிறைக்கைதி உயிரை மாய்த்துக் கொண்டார். கடந்த ஆண்டு ஜூனில் யெமனியர் ஒருவரும் சவூதி நாட்டவர் இருவரும் தற்கொலை செய்து கொண்டனர்.
கடந்த ஐந்தாண்டுகளாக இயங்கும் க்வாண்டனமோவில் 380 பேர் 'போர்க்கால குற்றங்களை'க் காரணங் கற்பித்து பிணையாக இருக்கிறார்கள்.
